Kathy has more than 20 years of experience providing tax services to clients in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MCM in 2023, Kathy was a Managing Director with Crowe in their financial services tax practice.
Kathy has provided tax consulting and compliance services to financial institutions ranging from $70 million in total assets to publicly-traded, multi-state financial institutions with multi-billion dollar assets. She works extensively with both C-Corporation and S-Corporation financial institutions and provides expertise related to tax accounting and financial statement presentation under ASC 740, including tax credit investments (Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, and Solar Energy Tax Credits) and stock-based compensation, and tax considerations in mergers and acquisitions including Day 1 and Day 2 tax accounting.
