MCM Ascend Program

This two day program allows high-achieving students to experience the firm firsthand and take a glimpse into career opportunities, while networking with other young professionals.

Eligibility: This program is designed for third-year students who are pursuing a five-year program or second-year students who are pursuing a four-year program in accounting or related field.

To apply: download and return completed application, along with an unofficial transcript and resume to hr@mcmcpa.com February 14, 2020.

MCM Emerge Program

Emerge from the crowd of ordinary accounting students! Join us for a one-day program that will introduce you to the public accounting profession and answer basic industry questions.

Eligibility: Second-year students who are pursuing a five-year program or first-year students who are pursuing a four-year program in accounting or related field.

MCM Internship Program

Every spring, the firm brings in aspiring CPAs and accounting students for paid internships during the January-April busy season across all of our offices in Louisville, Jeffersonville, Lexington, and Cincinnati. There are 2 main types of internships: assurance and tax, although MCM also has internships in our IT, Consulting, and Internal Support Departments.

Applying for internships:

MCM currently partners with most regional universities’ career centers for internship applications. Please check with your school’s career center or accounting department to learn more about applying for internships at MCM. This is the most effective way to apply.

If applying directly to MCM, please send your resume to hr@mcmcpa.com, and make sure to include all of the following information:

  • Expected graduation date
  • GPA and Accounting GPA
  • Expected date of meeting the 150 hour requirement for the CPA exam
  • Contact information (email, phone, etc.)
