MCM CPAs & Advisors Announce New Partners

MCM CPAs & Advisors, one of the region’s largest CPA & advisory firms, recently announced that effective January 1, 2020, Theresa Batliner, CPA, Michelle Deans, CPA, and Sean Ennis, CPA, MBA have been appointed as partners. Theresa, Michelle and Sean will maintain their leadership roles within their industry niches, while expanding their efforts in new business development and Firm initiatives.

“Elevating the next generation of leadership is always something we look forward to at MCM,” says MCM Managing Partner Brad Smith, CPA. “Theresa, Michelle and Sean have been with us for several years, and each bring a unique set of skills and expertise to our firm.”

Theresa Batliner has been with MCM for 12 years, providing leadership in the Firm’s Not-for-Profit Service Team and Assurance Services Department. In her role as a partner, her practice emphasis will continue to be   providing services to not-for-profit organizations throughout the region.  Additionally, she will continue to work with clients in the manufacturing, investment company and broker-dealer industries.

Michelle Deans has over 15 years of experience servicing manufacturing, auto dealer and commercial clients. In her role as partner, Michelle will continue her primary focus with clients in the automotive dealer and manufacturing industries.  She will also continue to provide leadership in the employee benefit audit practice for the Firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office.

Sean Ennis has worked in insurance and healthcare auditing since he started his professional career in 2005. As a partner on the MCM Advisory Services Team, his primary focus will be insurance and healthcare advisory services with an emphasis in expert litigation and self-funded insurance plan evaluation.
