MCM CPAs & Advisors (MCM), one of the region’s largest accounting and advisory firms, recently welcomed James A. (Jim) Gravitt as a Consulting Principal and member of the Valuation Services Team. Jim is the former Vice President of Business Valuations at Hilliard Lyons, where he served for more than nine years. He began at MCM on July 2, 2019, and he will work across all five of the firm’s regional communities.

In this role, Gravitt will work directly with the firm’s many clients on business valuation, investigative accounting, damages assessment and other financial advisory services. He holds a CPA license and is a Certified Business Appraiser, Accredited in Business Valuation, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

“Jim’s skills and experience are the ideal fit for MCM,” says MCM Partner and Advisory Services Team Leader Steve Kerrick. “In this role, he will allow us to continue building out our Valuation Services Team so we can continue to develop the solutions and strategies our clients need to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.”

The move will allow Jim to work closely with MCM’s 12 additional valuation specialists. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial services roles.
