To our valued clients and friends,

As we monitor the COVID-19 situation developing around the world, our top priority is to maintain the health and safety of our employees, clients and community members while maintain a consistent level of client service. We wanted to reach out to you to provide an update on what MCM is doing in the wake of the current events.

Within our MCM offices, we have taken action to follow the recommended precautions suggested by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). To protect our office environments, we have made hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap and disinfecting wipes available for all employees. We have also instituted enhanced cleaning protocols in all of the common areas in our offices.

We are communicating with our team members regularly, ensuring they are updated on evolving situations in our communities as well as any associated adjustments we need to make. We have alerted our employees who are ill or who have family in their homes who are exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory illness not to report to our offices or any client site. We understand that if employees are not well, they may also need to take time off to properly address their health needs. To date, we have had no team members to which this applies but we will be following strict quarantine rules in alignment with the most up-to-date CDC guidance for employees who have been (and those who have family members who live in their homes who have been) in contact with someone who has been exposed to or diagnosed with Coronavirus.

We have asked our team members to reach out to our clients for which we have upcoming onsite meetings and/or fieldwork scheduled to ensure we are properly coordinated and aware of any specific measures you have instituted within your organizations. At MCM, we have invested in the necessary technology to allow employees to work remotely if the need arises. Our employees maintain their phone numbers and email addresses while working remotely so you can reach your contacts by the channels you normally would. Our technology allows virtually the same access and capabilities we would have if working from the MCM office.

Our Technology Solutions Group has made virtual meeting technology available for our team members. If you prefer to meet virtually rather than in-person, please contact your MCM representative and they can make meeting arrangements accordingly. We respectfully ask that if you or anyone in your immediate surroundings show symptoms of any illness that you contact us before meeting to determine if a virtual meeting would be in the best interest of everyone involved.

We understand that this is a busy time for many of you. Our team is committed to keeping you informed of any relevant news the COVID-19 situation may bring to our accounting and advising industry.

We value our relationship with each of you and thank you for placing your trust in MCM. We are committed to staying connected with you as we all navigate these unprecedented times.

Best regards,

Brad Smith, Managing Partner
